Who has the final word?

Dear Friend,

You have value.

Inestimable worth, actually.

It is not your talents, gifts, strength or beauty that give you value.

It is not your skills, courtesy, diplomacy or eloquence.

It is not your real estate, bank account, job title or stock portfolio.

It is not even your creativity, self-sacrifice or hours of service.

It has nothing to do with what you have done or not done, accomplished or failed to do.

You have value because of what has been done FOR you.

You have talents, gifts, strength and beauty as a reflection of the One who declared your value.

You may gain skills, courtesy, diplomacy and eloquence because careful, powerful words of life have been spoken over you.

Your financial resources are a gift from the One who is the source of all wealth.

You may create amazing things or lay down your life in heroic service because He has created you to mirror Him.

The rarest, most valuable and irreplaceable substance in the universe was used to pay for your rescue from the black hole of do-don’t-do, fail-or-succeed.

No stronger statement of value can be made.

Do you trust the One who has said it?

Will you let His word be the final one?
