Good morning, Papa-God.

Thank You for cool air,

A table and chair,

Smoke to ward off mosquitoes,

Bird-call to welcome the sun,

Kingdom work to be done.

Thank You for a place to welcome others:

Teenage son and weary mother.

Thanks for seeds to grow and feed,

Abundant meeting of our need;

Thanks for trials and failures, too,

Meant to drive us on to You.

Your presence now I crave and seek;

Yours is the Strength empow’ring weak...

Like me.

A few words from my morning time with God.

May you sense His humbling, empowering presence today in new and multiplied ways.
