Why do I follow Jesus every day in the everyday?

Jesus, You are my treasure.

In You I have all I need;

Without You, nothing is supplied.

Through You I have peace;

Apart from You nothing rests.

Near You I am safe, protected;

Far from You, everything threatens destruction.

From You I have purpose and meaning;

All others bring momentary fame.

To You all destinies move:

All nations bounded, permitted and ended.

Yours is the force holding protons, electrons apart.

Yours is the power that alone returns breath to the dead.

You are my beginning and my end.

Worth every tear, every trouble,

Dearer than all of my blood,

Precious as diamonds,

Alone on the throne of my life:

You are my treasure!

He is worthy of all of my worship, so I am

Following Jesus every day in the everyday.
