What a Man! What a God!

Explore with me what Jesus meant when He said, “He who has seen me has seen the Father.”

Hebrews tells us that He is the radiance of God’s glory, the exact representation of His nature.

He is the image of the invisible God, according to Colossians.

John tells us: “No one has seen God at any time,” but Jesus, “the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father,” has explained Him.

To see what it looks like for God to walk around on our planet, breathe our air, experience our struggles, we need look no further than Jesus. The “Light of the World” explains “Him who dwells in unapproachable light” the way a prism explains the light of the sun. Jesus shows us the Father the way a self-portrait shows the painter.

Enjoy this powerful truth wrapped in the tender setting of this month’s song, as you consider what the Child in the manger shows you about the One who sent Him.

Enjoy a rich Advent season!
