The Fifth Day of Christmas
On the fifth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me…five healing wounds!
The wounds in His hands are to cure all the wounds we receive at the hands of others, and all those our own hands cause.
The wounds in His feet are medicine for the wounds we receive when we go our own way, and for the wounds we give others on that same path.
The wound in His side, His heart, is a healing place for all with broken hearts who take refuge there…us and those whose hearts we have broken.
He has taken these wounds willingly on our behalf. Behold His great love for us!
