Following Jesus every day in the everyday includes music at my house. I grew up singing and playing. The language of my soul is melody and rhyme, and I take literally the instructions to “sing and make music in your hearts toward God.” It is a primary way He and I communicate, and a gift He has given me to share with you.

What with laundry and dishes, work schedules and menu planning, it is hard for us to nurture a relationship with anyone, but there is One who earnestly and continually desires our company. He woos and pursues us; He is always waiting for our attention and is always listening to us. He knows our walk here on earth is perilous (He walked it before us.), and eyes are easily drawn away from His face. He does not give us a hard time about losing our focus, He simply asks us to come away a moment with Him.
